New Connection Information

Note: We cannot connect power to your property on weekends or public holidays. It usually takes up to 3 business days to connect electricity at your property and set up a new account with the new retailer that you've selected. For same day connections please call us on 1300 786 045.
Note: Gas connections to your property will usually take 3 business days.

Is power currently on at your new property?

Note: A technician will require clear access to the main switch and/or meter. Please ensure there are no access restrictions such as locked gates and unrestrained animals as you may be charged additional fees if the provider incurs additional costs.
To ensure your power is connected, you must make sure the main switch is turned off prior to the connection date.

Please make sure that:
1. There is safe and unhindered access to your electricity meter.
2. You turn off your power at the switchboard.

Is there any work currently occurring or planned to occur at the property that may lead to a person coming into contact with exposed electrical wiring?

You will be remotely connected for a fee as displayed above including GST, which will appear on your first bill. If it's not possible to connect you remotely, an additional fee may apply for manual connection. Please ensure there are no access restrictions such as locked gates and unrestrained animals as you may be charged additional fees if the provider incurs additional costs. To ensure your power is connected, you must make sure the main switch is turned off prior to the connection date.

Do you want to mention any site hazards at your property?
