What Sets Dodo Apart?
Dodo operates with focus. Internet, mobile, and energy services are offered under one provider at the same address.Â
Plan structures vary. Some services run month to month. Others follow longer terms based on the service chosen.
Fibre upgrades are supported where available. Eligible homes can move beyond older connections and access higher NBN speed tiers.
The service range is wide. Very few providers in Australia combine internet, mobile, and energy all in one place.Â
Who Owns Dodo?
Dodo is owned by Vocus Group.
Vocus Group acquired Dodo in 2014. Since then, Dodo has operated as a consumer brand within the Vocus portfolio, alongside other internet and network businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
Where Are Dodo Plans Available?
Dodo plans are available across Australia, depending on the type of service and location. NBN plans are offered at properties connected to the national network, with speed options tied to the local connection. The mobile plans are available as regular solutions across the nation, operating on the Optus network, and differ by area. Energy plans are more limited: electricity is available in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia; gas services are restricted to Victoria and New South Wales. Eligibility for energy plans depends on the address.

Dodo Mobile Plans
Dodo mobile phone plans, powered by the Optus 4G network, are some of the most affordable SIM-only plans around. All Dodo phone plans include unlimited calls, text and MMS, no lock-in contracts, no excess data charges, no set-up costs and the option to add a 5GB data pack for $10.
You can opt for a 2GB, 15GB, 25GB or 45GB plan, with the option to upgrade or downgrade at any time.
You can transfer your current mobile phone number to your new plan when you activate your SIM. It usually takes about 4 hours for your number to transfer so you can be up and running on the same day that you receive your SIM.
If you run out of data during the month, your mobile data speed will be slowed to 1 Mbps, but you won’t be charged any excess data fees. You have the option to buy a data pack to receive extra data for the rest of the month. On the other hand, if you don’t use all your data in a particular month, it will be banked for use in the following month so it won’t go to waste.Â
If you find you are regularly exceeding your data, you should consider upgrading your plan as it can be more cost-effective than buying additional data packs each month.
Dodo Internet Plans and Energy Bundle
Dodo energy plans feature competitive rates, solar feed-in tariffs, no lock-in contracts and flexible payment options. PLUS if you choose to bundle your NBN plan and energy with Dodo, you will receive $10 off your internet plan.
