The SOLARPLUS plan costs $1,870 a year or $1,810 with the discount, about 5 percent below the reference price.

Victoria (VIC): Victorian customers have three plans. GLOSAVE costs $1,320 a year or $1,280 when paid on time. BOOST is $1,310 and matches the same level of savings. GREENMAX costs $1,420 a year or $1,380 with the discount. All sit below the Victorian Default Offer.

Queensland (QLD): In Queensland, BOOST costs $1,780 a year, which is 17 percent below the reference price. GLOSAVE costs $1,830 or $1,770 with the discount. GREENMAX costs $1,940 a year or $1,880 with the discount. SOLARPLUS matches the reference price at $2,150 a year or $2,090 when you pay on time and by direct debit.

South Australia (SA): South Australian customers can choose from three plans. GLOSAVE costs $1,870 a year or $1,810 with the discount. BOOST costs $1,910 a year and is 17 percent cheaper than the reference price. GREENMAX costs $1,970 or $1,910 with the discount. All three plans sit below the reference price.

GloBird Energy Solar Plans

GloBird Energy gives customers with solar a chance to earn credit for the power they send back to the grid. In New South Wales, the SolarPlus Residential plan pays up to 10 cents per kilowatt hour for the first 8 kilowatt hours each day. After that, the rate sits between 3 and 10 cents per kilowatt hour. The plan costs about $1,870 a year or $1,810 when payments are made on time and by direct debit.

In Queensland, the SolarPlus Residential plan follows the same setup. It offers up to 10 cents per kilowatt hour for exported power. The yearly cost is around $2,150 or $2,090 with on-time and direct debit payments.

These plans give solar users a fair return and help reduce the cost of running a home.

  • Victoria (VIC): Victorian customers can choose from four gas plans. The GLOSAVE Residential plan costs $660 a year or $640 when paid on time, with a daily supply charge of 64.9 cents and usage between 3.01 and 3.02 cents per megajoule. The BOOST Residential plan has a 71.5 cent supply charge, usage rates between 2.74 and 2.95 cents, and costs $670 annually. Both the GLOGREEN and ULTRASAVE Residential plans have a 68.2 cent supply charge and usage between 3.12 and 3.14 cents, costing $680 a year or $660 when paid on time.
  • Queensland (QLD): In Queensland, the BOOST Residential plan has a 111.1 cent daily supply charge and usage between 3.02 and 3.24 cents, with an annual cost of $670. The GLOSAVE Residential plan shares the same supply rate but offers a discount for paying on time and by direct debit, bringing the cost from $670 to $650. The GLOGREEN Residential plan has a 114.4 cent supply charge and usage between 3.3 and 3.36 cents, costing $690 a year or $670 with the discount. The ULTRA SAVE Residential plan also has a 114.4 cent supply charge, usage between 3.41 and 3.46 cents, and costs $700 annually or $680 with the discount.
  • South Australia (SA): In South Australia, the BOOST Residential plan costs $980 a year, with a daily supply charge of 77 cents and usage between 3.46 and 4.95 cents per megajoule. The GLOSAVE Residential plan has a lower supply charge of 69.3 cents and usage between 4.51 and 5.17 cents, costing $980 a year or $950 with the discount. The GLOGREEN Residential plan costs $1,010 annually or $980 with the discount, with a 72.6 cent supply charge and usage between 4.62 and 5.28 cents. The ULTRA SAVE Residential plan has the same supply charge, usage between 4.73 and 5.39 cents, and costs $1,020 a year or $990 when paid on time and by direct debit.
