Saving Energy on Cooling and Heating

  • To boil water use an electric kettle rather than the stove.

  • Avoid using too many electrical devices at the one time in the kitchen.

Saving Energy on Laundry

  • Only use the washing machine or dryer on full load to conserve energy.
  • Use cold water whenever possible to wash clothes.
  • Install energy efficient taps fitted with sensors that control the water flow. They help with both saving you energy and water.
  • Use a clothesline instead of a dryer to dry your clothes.
