Award-Winning Network

Aussie Broadband operates and owns its own national network with direct connections to all of NBN’s infrastructure plus its own extensive fibre network. These direct connections mean they can connect and restore services fast.

You can find out more about their network and coverage through these links:

Aussie’s network is connected to all 121 NBN POIs - this deep integration means they have full control to fix issues and arrange speedy activations. In addition, because they own and operate a fibre network, they can provide more control and protection.

They use advanced systems to monitor and fix faults as quickly as possible to provide a reliable service for customers.
You can rely on consistently high speeds with Aussie Broadband’s impressive network capacity management. They ensure that their NBN network never exceeds 80% capacity so that you get high speeds at all times of the day.

Their automated bandwidth “top-ups” mean that NBN speeds are not affected by congestion in the network at peak times, with their system closely monitoring all 121 POIs every 60 seconds. If the capacity limit is getting close, the system automatically orders more bandwidth so the quality of your connection is never compromised.

To see the capacity at your local NBN POI, click here.

If you are not sure which POI you are connected to, enter your address here.
Aussie has recently built a 1200 km fibre network to provide more “OnNet” services. This purpose-built network has thought of everything to provide high-quality internet.

  • 100% owned by Aussie Broadband - not reliant on other carriers for fixes.
  • Purpose-designed and integrated redundancy, diversity and resiliency.
  • Multiple monitoring systems to respond quickly to issues.
  • A fibre management system with geo location for fibre cuts for rapid fault restoration.
  • Easily scalable to add more customers without reducing quality.
  • Lowest latency paths for international traffic.
